Skateboarding on the motorway at 100 km an hour

Police are looking for a man filmed riding a skateboard down a steep stretch of a German motorway at 100 km an hour.
Even though he severely infringed the law, we are pleased that, for safety reasons, he chose our 4fight LT helmet
We don't know his identity, because he didn't buy the helmet direct from us.

We are very proud that our 4fight helmet is on display right now in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art as part of its Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy collection.
The exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art features approximately 70 ensembles including movie costumes, avant-garde haute couture, and high performance sportswear to reveal how the superhero serves as the ultimate metaphor for the ability to transform the human body. The exhibition will run from May 7 through September 1, 2008.
We will soon be adding video clips to our website.
 This is an introductory trial video.

Manfred Ruhmer, three times hang gliding world champion, is still one of Icaro’s shareholders. He is often at our factory, developing his electric Swift.
When we need a good test pilot, he is always willing to fly one of our hang gliders. In this short movie he can be seen (the third pilot) landing the new Easy2.
Just before he took off, he said that he was frightened about landing a hang glider, because he was not accustomed to flex wing gliders any more! Of course, he was joking. Note the unorthodox footwear (boots) that you can glimpse as he flashes by!

Not just for
free-flight pilots
We received this mail and the fine pictures from Steph Davis, USA
Thanks for making such a great helmet. I think it is really perfect for subterminal BASE, because it provides impact protection, as well as full face/chin coverage. Also, it is very light. I have been showing it to my friends, because there is not yet the "perfect" BASE-specific helmet known to jumpers. People usually use skydiving helmets, but they do not provide the same amount of impact protection, and are also heavier to carry to the tops of cliffs. The open face helmets are okay for terminal BASE jumping, but for low cliffs, where there is a real chance of smashing your face, I really want the full face protection. That's why I did some research, and discovered Icaro, and have been really really happy with this helmet.

has just ordered a brand new Laminar Z9
Guido Gehrmann, increasingly involved in hang glider aerobatics, has decided, together with his sponsor Red Bull, to fly the best glider on the market. In fact he was already flying Icaro in 2006, during the first aerobatic championship in Villeneuve, Switzerland, when he came second. Click to see pictures of the event.
His objective: to win the next world championship in August, in Voss, Norway.
