  • How is the data transferred to the computer ? USB ?
    • Yes, via the cable that is delivered with the Polifemo, or ....
    • you take out the Micro SD card from the Polifemo and you insert it in your card slot on your computer
      a card adapter from micro SD to normal SD is included i the package

  • Are there any compatibility problems with a Mac ?
    • No, your Mac must just recognize the SD card and the Avi format
  • What codec is used to record the video and at what compression level ?
    • The codec is MPEG1 and the datarate is 4000k bit/s.
  • Do you have sample videos from this camera?
  • How the camera responds to sudden changes in light, such as when doing a 360 outdoors, which is where most compact video cameras perform poorly ?
    • The quality is good, but don't expect to have the same quality of a professional video camera

  • Does it have a wide angle lense?
    • No, not this model. In the future there will be probably one

  • Can i use Polifemo as a web cam ?
    • Yes, by connecting Polifemo to the PC through the USB cable supplied, the device is recognized and works as a webcam.
      For this function you must install the drivers from the supplied CD
