Transalp, the light Icaro helmet: only 390 grams

In the Red Bull X-Alps 2013 competition it was for the first time mandatory to wear a helmet with E.N. 966 certification.

The pilots have searched for a helmet that is as light as possible, and they have found our TZ model without ear defenders or electronic headsets.

Clement Latour, second classified, was wearing this slightly modified helmet of just 390 grams.

The EN 966 certification of the Rega II helmet

Icaro 2000 presents the 5 stringent tests performed on its new helmets Rega II in order to obtain the European EN 966 certification for free flight and micro light sports.

Remember that the tests that have to be passed to obtain EN 1077 ski helmet certification are not as demanding as those for EN 966.
